The challenge was to create a visual identity that felt both futuristic and timeless, resonating with the diverse audience of creatives, developers, and technologists attending SXSW. We explored various typographic and structural approaches, ensuring the final design would stand out across digital and physical applications.

The final logo, inspired by isometric pixel art and digital structures, embodied the intersection of technology and creativity. It featured a modular, 3D block style, playing with perspective and depth to create a dynamic and memorable mark. The colour palette balanced warm, vibrant tones with cool blues, reinforcing a sense of energy and innovation.

The SXSW Web Awards logo became an integral part of the event’s branding, setting the tone for future editions. Its bold, geometric style captured the festival’s spirit and was well received by both organisers and attendees, helping establish the Web Awards as a key part of SXSW’s digital presence.
